"After dinner, stroll through the charming neighborhood to reach decadent Extraordinary Desserts. The sugar rush should get you started for a night out in the Gaslamp District club scene; if you prefer something chill, the swanky retro cocktail bar Prohibition Lounge is a great way to finish the night."
"Well, pre-order from Extraordinary Desserts today and dine like royalty tonight. We love this iconic duo: the chocolate dulce de leche and the shangrila (yum!). Right now they offer curbside pick-up or delivery via Grubhub or Postmates to your home."
"Heading up most of San Diego’s “New Best of” lists, Spill the Beans Coffee and Bagels is a simple, yet delicious coffee concept sharing a space downtown with Smoking Gun, a neighborhood restaurant and bar. Pouring fresh cups of Dark Horse coffee in a sleek and modern setting, it’s also serving made from scratch bagels in flavors like pear, vanilla and cinnamon with artisan-compounded butter or house-made cream cheeses. "The best bagel in San Diego & I have tried A LOT OF BAGELS IN SD. I have an obsession with bagels, so trust me when I tell you- this is the spot. They have tons of different bagel sandwiches, SO many interesting cream cheese flavors, & the drinks are also amazing. My go to order is Lox, Stock, & Bagel sandwich but I replace the wasabi ginger cream cheese for caramelized shallot & chive & then I get the lavendar chai w/ macadamia nut milk."
"Freshly made, inventive and conscientious, Spill the Beans is rapidly defining how adults should begin their day. Perfectly situated in the heart of Gaslamp, an early morning stroll down to San Diego’s world-renowned hub of nightlife never sounded so promising. Pull up a seat and stay awhile because the Dark Horse Coffee and bagels made from scratch will only leave you wanting more, ya “Pot Head!"

Casual bi-level venue offering breakfasts as well as a menu of appetizers, panini, salads & wine.
"The brainchild of famed pastry chef Jean-Philippe, this dessert spot will dazzle your eyes while also satiating your sweet tooth. Ordering from an iPad, customers choose from many levels of customization—a meringue base, ice cream, a cake layer, toppings—which are then quickly assembled by a staffer. If that’s not beautiful enough for you, order it “Las Vegas” style and it arrives in a mist of dry ice!"

"This Imperial Beach spot has been owned by French Chef Fabrice Gaunin for 17 years. With prime views of the pier, Cow-A-Bunga serves equally impressive ice cream. Along with his wife, Nelly, each flavor is handmade in the shop one bucket at a time, sourcing farmers markets for local ingredients, like raspberries and strawberries for special batches."
